Because I’ve Seen the World...
I Want the World to Be Seen
Because when we truly see the world... in all its beauty, complexity, and quiet dignity... we learn to care for it, and for each other.
From ancient artifacts to vintage photographs and postcards, to the images I’ve captured traveling through Morocco, Guatemala, Nepal, China, and Turkey, I’ve spent my life collecting and honoring the stories that live in small details... the kind of details that hold meaning if we know how to look.
Traveling the world has taught me to pay attention. It’s taught me that there is always more than what’s on the surface... and that every face, place, and moment carries a story worth knowing.
Whether I’m holding an object from the past or framing a scene through my camera, I’m searching for what’s real... what matters... and how to share that story with others.
That same search for deeper understanding led me to the Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter School for Peace and Conflict Resolution at George Mason University, where I study how to see people, culture, and conflict from every side. I believe that when we learn to truly see and understand each other... across cultures, across differences... so much of what divides us can begin to heal.
